The Many Emotions of Planning a ‘Round The World Trip
Zach and I are planning to travel around the world after college. It’s seems like I’ve been planning FOREVER well, because I HAVE been planning FOREVER! LOL! Ever since we met my freshman year he’s been talking about how AMAZING travel is and how I should travel after college, and that sparked the idea for our after-college/before-real life ’round the world trip. Zach is very go with the flow and thinks I am totes overpreparing, but someone has to plan! I have ALL the guidebooks and read ALL the travel blogs preparing for the most amazing year of my life. I just can’t wait! Throughout the process of planning our ’round the world trip I’ve gone through every emotion you can think of: excited, scared, nervous, frustrated. If you can feel it, I’ve felt it!
Here are some of the many emotions of planning a ’round the world trip:
When you first decide you’re going to travel the world.
Then you realize how much you have to do to prepare.
When you think about selling your stuff for money.
When you ask your friends and family for support.
When no one understands your plans to travel.
When you can’t fit everything you want in your backpack.
When you haven’t saved enough money to travel.
When you buy your RTW ticket.
When you have to say goodbye to your friends.
When you finally board the plane to start your RTW trip.
Have you planned a RTW Trip? What emotions did you go through?
